Trust Quartet Events

I got home a few hours ago from a Trust Quartet rehearsal. We got together at the Okeechobee Church of God and sang for a couple of hours. Then, we went invaded Golden Corral and feasted a little while. It was a good rehearsal. There are some of our friends who have been so kind to us during our last few concerts ~ listening to us sing some songs that are brand new. Please understand, most of the time when we put a new song in a concert, it's just that. A new song ~ singular! Some of our recent concerts have had three and four brand new songs in 'em! And guess what? They sounded brand new! But our friends have been SO kind and encouraged us along the way. THANK YOU!! This rehearsal was focusing more on those songs and trying to get them where you can enjoy hearing them without cringing while you do it. Can I be honest with you? Music rehearsals can be monotonous. They are hard work. Sometimes it's hard to concentrate and focus for that length of time. But honesty compels me to also tell you that it is some of the most rewarding and enjoyable time as well. We are able to bond as a group, as a family. Speaking of family, we were honored to have little Braylee with us. (Rhonda, if I spelled her name wrong, let me know and I'll correct it!) She is the two year old great-granddaughter of Buzz and Beverly. OK, she's Rhonda and Jeff's granddaughter. She had her first ride on the bus, too! Good grief, I just looked at the clock on the bottom of the computer. I think it's time to get some sleep. Church starts in just a few hours!
